English Language Medical Doctor`s Program Launched at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University

Batumi Shota Rustaveli University Acting Rector Merab Khalvashi, Adjara Autonomous Republic Deputy Minister of Health and Social Affairs Levan Gorgiladze, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health Care Marina Koridze and program director Sophie Beridze hosted a meeting in honour of the international students enrolled in the newly launched English language single-step educational program of Medical Doctor. The BSU has developed the first English language Medical Doctor’s integrated curriculum in the region, which sets an example of good practices among other Georgian high educational institutions.

The program is also intended to serve as a solid foundation for the internationalization of medical education and integration into the international education system.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University congratulates the first-admitted 35 Medical Doctor program students from India, who are starting the semester in 21 December, and wishes success in education.  

Meanwhile, the program will announce openings for another 100 international students in 2016.
