
The short term student exchange program of the Kazakh students at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University has ended. 16 Master's students from Marat Ospanov Kazakhstan State Medical University who study natural and health sciences have successfully completed the training program “Research and Development Projects in Medicine: Principles, Methods and Practices”.
The trainings covered clinical guideline validity and practical value, the role and importance of statistics in the health care and medicine, methodology and practice of the project development and implementation.
The program was implemented at the Batumi Referral Hospital owned by the Medical Corporation “Evex”, at the basis of Adjara branch and National Centre for Disease Control and Public Health.
The English MA program in Medicine, initiated at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, is the first one of its kind in the West Georgia. The project director is Professor Salome Glonti, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health Care.
