
Italian Ambassador to Georgia H.E. Antonio Enrico Bartoli visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and met the students who study international relations. H.E. Italian Ambassador to Georgia spoke about the cultural, educational and political relations between the two countries and discussed future prospects.
The Ambassador emphasized on Italy’s leading role as of the European country, and pointed out the importance of protecting peace and overcoming poverty. His Excellency highlighted advanced level of developments in industry, science and technology, and the importance of sharing Italy’s experience to Georgia.
His Excellency’s speech was followed with question-and-answer session. All eyes turned to the visa liberalization process was reflected in the students’ questions, who seemed particularly interested in Italy's role in the process. H.E. Ambassador of Italy to Georgia told the students that Italy considers Georgia a European country, however its development depends entirely on the advancement of education, science and infrastructure. H.E. Enrico Antonio Bartoli introduced himself with BSU and expressed readiness of cooperation in his speech with the Rector of the University.
