
Professor Emeritus Georg Lohman, Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg, delivered a public lecture for the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University students “National and International Public Sectors and Protection of Human Rights”.
The cycle of the public lectures ‘Presidential Collegium of the State Order’ has been held with the support of the Georgian President’s reserve fund. The project goal was to organize multiparty academic discussions around the state building issues, with the public engagement, e.g.
- Interrelation of the rule of justice state and democracy
- Role of the religion in the state and religious pluralism;
- The significance of the public space in the constitution developing process.
Professor Emeritus Georg Lohman focused to the national, international and transnational concepts of the human rights and talked about human rights and religious freedom. In the end of the meeting, Professor Lohman answered the students’ questions.
