Michel Brosse, Academic Delegate for Lifelong Learning (DAFCO)Grenoble, and Jean Noel Pachoud, TEMPUS LMPH Project Coordinator, Grenoble, within the framework of the Tempus project LMPH visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. At the formal meeting, Rector of BSU Merab Khalvashi, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, BSU Rostom Beridze discussed format of the future collaboration with the delegates. The Tempus project “Facilitation of Vocational, BA and MA Programs in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Moldova for the Development of the Tourism Industry” has been implemented since 2013. The LMPH project will modify the academic courses of ‘Hotel Studies’ in the Tourism curricula to harmonize them with the Eauropean accreditation standards. The project will also introduce new academic modules in Tourism Studies.
