Alexander Jejelava, Georgian Minister of Education and Science, Inga Shamilishvili, Minister of Adjara AR Education, Culture and Sports visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and discussed the current issues of high education and science with Merab Khalvashi, Rector of BSU, Head of Administration Jemal Ananidze, Vice Rector Natia Tsiklashvili, professors and educators.
The Minister talked about the importance of the joint educational programs, the rules of financing high education, the achievements of the Georgian scientists, and the professional programs. The discussion dealt with the forthcoming changes to the financing rules, achievements of the Georgian scientists, and the vocational education and training programs. Minister Jejelava answered the question of the audience.
Minister Jejelava had a tour round Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University to see the innovated infrastructure, a dental clinic BSU Dent – a equipped with the advanced technologies, Chromatographic Center of the Western Georgia, labs of chemistry and physics.
