His excellency Mariusz Maszkiewicz, Ambassador of Poland to Georgia visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The envoy met Merab Khalvash, Rector of the high educational institution, and discussed political, cultural and educational relations between Georgia to Poland. The parties planned the prospective implementation of the joint educational and research projects and exchange programs. Another significant agreement made at the meeting was opening of the Room of Georgia-Poland Interrelation at BSU, and establishment of the memorial board of the Polish architect of BSU Alexander Szymkiewicz.
