The Project "Learning Optimization and Academic Inclusion Via Equitative Distance Teaching and Learning - Love Distance"

On January 15, 2020, the ERASMUS + CBHE three-year grant project "Learning Optimization and Academic Inclusion Via Equitative Distance Teaching and Learning - Love Distance" has been launched at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The project envisages access and quality improvement of higher education for students with disabilities, disadvantaged conditions and those from ethnic minorities, and peripheral areas in Israel and Georgia. The project coordinating institution is Polytechnic Institute of Porto (IPP), in which Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is involved with another HEIs of Georgia- Ilia State University and Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University.

On January 16-17, the first national meeting of the “Love Distance” project consortium was held at Telavi State University, in which, along with representatives of TESAU and ISU, BSU personnel involved in the project - Anzor Beridze, Amiran Sharadze, and Nana Makaradze took part. At the meeting, the project participants got acquainted with the project goals and the three-year action plan.
