Philip Purifoy, representative of the Fulbright Exchange Program, delivered a public lecture at Shota Rustveli State University in Batumi on the topic: "Early America: The Historical Context of the United States Constitution". The speaker spoke to the students about the American Revolution, the creation of the Constitution and human rights. After the lecture, the meeting took place in a question-and-answer mode, and Philip Purifoy answered the topical questions of the students. Philip Purifoy is doing an internship at the International Education Center of BSU. The public lecture was organized by the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations of BSU.

On May 29-30, a meeting of the steering committee of the "Erasmus+" CBHE project - "Synergy of educational, scientific, management and industrial components for climate management and climate change prevention (CLIMAN)” was held at the Business Academy of the Netherlands. Project manager and researcher, Dean of Exact Sciences and Education Faculty, Professor Lela Turmanidze and project administrative staff and researcher, associate professor Nana Mazmishvili attended the meeting of the steering committee from Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.
The representatives of the partner institutions summarized the activities implemented in the frame of the project, discussed the challenges and future plans.

The coordinating institution of the ""Erasmus+" CBHE project - "Synergy of educational, scientific, management and industrial components for climate management and climate change prevention (CLIMAN),” the Netherlands Business Academy hosted a short-term study tour. The 5-day study visit: "Business Aspects of Climate Regulations in the European Union" envisaged intensive training in interactive teaching methods in implementation of climate management regulations and sustainable development goals, the aspects of cooperation between the business sector and the university.

World Bank representative, global innovation advisor Peter Lindholm met the BSU Rector, Merab Khalvashi, head of administration, Merab Diasamidze, vice-rectors, Tamar Siradze and Anzor Beridze, Head of Quality Assurance Service, Vladimir Ghlonti, and representative of scientific research service, Natia Japaridze. At the meeting, Peter Lindholm discussed the sustainability of the assessment, monitoring and evaluation systems of research results of authorized higher educational institutions and research institutes in Georgia. The participants of the event also discussed the levers for monitoring and evaluation of research development and the identification of mechanisms needed to improve effectiveness of evaluation. The meeting was organized by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.

Deputy Ambassador of Germany Tanja Hutt visited Shota Rustveli State University of Batumi. At the meeting with the Rector Merab Khalvashi and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Theona Beridze, the Deputy Ambassador talked about deepening cooperation with BSU and German universities and implementing new educational programs. The Deputy Ambassador of Germany, Tanja Hutt, outlined the project to support German language teaching, which ensures strengthening of German language teaching/learning. Within the framework of the visit, the representative of the diplomatic corps also met the academic staff of the German studies department, students of the vocational and continuing education master`s educational program, European studies, international relations undergraduate educational programs and heads of the Adjara resource centers.
