Within the framework of agricultural extension project, representatives of the Washington and Tbilisi offices of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), experts from the US universities of Idaho and Mississippi, and representatives of the "Future Farmer" organization visited BSU. At the meeting with BSU Rector Merab Khalvashi and professors and teachers, members of the delegation Benjamin Cairn, representative of the American Department of Agriculture, Brian Small, professor of the University of Idaho, Steven Raikle, professor of the University of Mississippi, representatives of the Tbilisi office of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Gocha Shaindze and Demna Dzirkvadze talked about the university`s involvement in the project and future plans.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University participates in the "Batumi First International Book and Higher Education Exhibition". At the opening event of the exhibition, Rector of BSU Merab Khalvashi welcomed the participants and drew attention to the importance of holding the education forum.

Within the framework of the "Erasmus+" project "Curriculum Innovation for Social Inclusion - CISI", a short-term training was held on the topic: "Working with students with autism spectrum at school". The teachers from public and private schools, special teachers, parents of the students with special needs participated in the training. The aim of the training was to familiarize the attendees with with the causes, symptoms, specific social-communication skills development and teaching strategies of autism spectrum disorders. The training was carried out in an online format and lasted for 3 days.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University was visited by Roman Strasse, co-founder of the organization "European Alliance for Georgia" created in Brussels. At the introductory meeting with BSU Rector, Professor Merab Khalvashi, the guest spoke about the activities of the organization and directions of future cooperation. The parties planned to sign a memorandum, within the framework of which public lectures, seminars, discussions, conferences and implementation of joint projects will be held. Within the framework of the visit, Roman Strasse gave a public lecture to BSU students on the relations between the European Union and Georgia

A workshop was organized by the BSU team of the project "Erasmus+" project "Responsible Conduct of Research - Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities - ETHICS". The purpose of the meeting was to present a presentation about the project to the decision-makers from BSU by the institutional representatives of the project. Within the framework of the workshop, the staff involved in the project presented to the BSU administration information about the project`s goals, expected results, activities included in the work packages and their implementation deadlines, if necessary, the mechanisms for involving future relevant persons in the project`s working groups, the role and obligations of the BSU in the project, and what will be implemented in the first stage of the project. The meeting was attended by the representatives of various management circles of the BSU administration.
