Summer School “Constitutional Democracy in European Union: Modern Challenges and Georgia” has been opened in Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The Summer School which will last for four days will be implemented via the zoom platform and involve 30 BA and MA students of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of BSU and other universities of Georgia. The Summer School is organized in the frame of the project of the Jean Monnet Department of the BSU financed by the EU “ERASMUS+” Jean Monnet programme. The only way to defeat the pandemic is through vaccination; vaccination protects us from death, -said Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, in Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University where, together with the Chairman of the Parliament Kakha Kuchava, the Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Chkhenkeli, the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara Tornike Rizhvadze, the BSU Rector Merab Khalvashi and the Administration Head Nika Chkhartishvili, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the vaccination process.

Vaccination space has been opened today at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (35 Ninoshvili St., the space of a small gym after the name of Amiran Mamaladze). Vaccination is possible: with Pfizer, Sinovak and Sinopharm. Pre-registration is not required. The center will be working from Monday to Saturday (including) from 10:00 to 18:00.

14 Educational Programmes of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health Care of BSU went through the successful accreditation process. Three one-cycle educational programmes including one instructed in English, five BA, four MA and two PhD educational programmes met the accreditation standards and, pursuant to the decision of the Higher Education Programmes’ Accreditation Council, were awarded the full accreditation. We congratulate the faculty students and professors and the teaching staff on this important event and wish them success.
