GEORGIAN-GERMAN DAYS OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University participated in the Vocational Education Georgian-German days held in Tbilisi. In the frame of the event a two day conference “Skills for Georgia-Georgian-German Days of Vocational Education” was held too. At about 200 experts and invited guests attended the session where the important issues of the vocational education were discussed. German experts shared their experience in the field of vocational education with Georgian colleagues.

Lela Turmanidze, Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Education, Madona Mikeladze, Director of the Centre of Vocational Programme Management and Continues Education and Nino Dolidze, Head of the Public Relations presented Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University at the conference as well as introduced the Vocational Education and Human Resource Development MA Educational programme at the exhibition.  

In the frame of the event the meeting with the Georgian Higher Education Institutions implementing MA Educational Programmes and the German experts took place in the office of DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). The parties spoke about the prospects of the development of programme and defined the directions of future cooperation.  

The Georgian-German Days of Vocational Education was organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia and GIZ-German Society for International Cooperation.
