For the First time in the Georgian educational space, MA educational programme “Vocational Education and Human Resource Development” starts functioning at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The university, through the accreditation procedure, was awarded the right for the implementation of the MA educational programme prepared based on the international practice and in compliance with the national requirements.

We repeatedly inform you that Pursuant to the BSU Rector’s Order N01-02/149 of 27 November 2020 “the study process at the “Medical Doctor” educational programme (English) will be implemented in the mixed, hybrid form, in particular, theoretical part will be delivered through distance learning form, while practical/laboratory/clinic – offline, in the university space and clinics. Consequently, it is compulsory to return to Georgia on time (until December 25, 2020), get involved in the study process physically and pay the tuition fee, otherwise, your BSU student status will be suspended.
To arrive to Georgia the students shall use the charter flights organized in December, 2020 by the Georgian government (further details can be found on the English page of the BSU official web-site; in the section “news”).

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is engaged in the project “Science is the Captain”. It is the first time Georgia joins the European Researchers’ night and the first time in the history it appears on the map of the synchronized activities of the EU countries and within the countries associated with the “horizon 2020”programme. On 27-28 November the main events of the project “Science is the Captain”, wide-scale, diverse, educational activities and activities of fun will take place in online form in Tbilisi, Batumi, Telavi, Kutaisi, Akhaltsikhe and Zugdidi. The project is being implemented in the frame of the “Horizon 2020” Maria Sklodowska-Curie-programme by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia with the support of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation.
