
On December 12, the Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Tite Aroshidze, together with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Japan, Teimuraz Lezhava, met with the President of the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, Toshio Iseki.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for future cooperation between the two universities. The discussion focused on the implementation of joint educational and scientific projects, as well as the exchange of experience. It was agreed to establish student and academic staff exchange programs in the fields of environmental protection and natural sciences.
The meeting was attended by members of the delegation, including David Batsikadze, Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara; Merab Diasamidze, Head of the BSU Administration; and Lasha Bolkvadze, a Japanese language teacher at BSU.
