Summer School “Sustainable Development of Tourism in Villages

The Faculty of Tourism of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is organizing the summer school ‘Sustainable Development of Tourism in Villages”. The event is taking place in the frame of the project named “Sustainable Tourism: Industry and Cultural Heritage in villages”. The aim of the summer school is to encourage internationalization, implementation of joint student projects and sharing international experience. The Summer School involves the professors and the students from Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, the University of Southeast Norway (USN) and Kyrguzstan University, Akaki Tsereteli State University and Maritime academy of Batumi.
On June 25-29 professors and teaching staff will present the articles and the students will conduct team presentations on the issues related to the sustainable development of tourism in villages.
In the frame of the event the participants of the Summer School will be introduced to the tourism potential of Ajara region.
