The spring school of the "Erasmus+" grant project "Promoting Professional Education and Student Engagement Through Comprehensive Mentoring and Tutoring system at HEIS" (PROMENT) was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The project aims to improve students` skills and active involvement in civil life, promoting their employment in relevant professional fields, deepening cooperation and internationalization between higher education institutions.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Rector Merab Khalvashi, Tourism Faculty Dean Irakli Kordzaia and Deputy Dean Nana Giorgadze paid a working visit to the advanced high school FERRANDI Paris of Hospitality of France in order to promote the development and internationalization of tourism educational programs. The visit included the presentation of short and long-term programs, familiarization with the educational infrastructure, revealing opportunities for cooperation in the direction of student internships and academic mobility.

On April 9-11, within the framework of the project "Responsible Conduct of Research - Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities" (ETHICS) funded by the European Commission, the second international meeting and study visit of the consortium was held. The meeting was attended by representatives of 10 Georgian higher educational institutions of the project consortium, 3 European universities and European non-university partner organizations, representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia and the National Center for Education Quality Development.

"Responsible Conduct of Research - Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities - ETHICS" (Responsible Conduct of Research - Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities - ETHICS) project "Erasmus+" funded by the European Commission organized an information meeting-training BSU team for academic and administrative staff, research institutes and structures of scientific direction.

At Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi, at the Faculty of Tourism, a Francophone Employment Center (CEF) was opened under the organization of the University Agency of Francophonie (AUF). The center was opened and the participants were addressed by the rector of BSU Merab Khalvashi, the regional director of AUF-ECO, Muhammad Ketata, and the director of the French Institute, Camille Nora.
