Director of French Institute Kamil Nora visited Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi. At the meeting held within the framework of Francophonie Days, BSU Rector Merab Khalvashi and Director of the French Institute Kamil Nora talked about the existing long-term successful cooperation and discussed future plans. It was planned to develop and implement a joint master`s educational program in the direction of tourism. They also talked about the importance of the newly opened francophone employment center, which will contribute to internationalization of students and graduates, employment and development of entrepreneurial skills.

The students of the BSU educational programme of Medical Doctor instructed in English language celebrated Holi, festival of colors together with Georgian students. Young people dressed in colorful sarees performed national dances in the yard of the university.Holi is a popular ancient Hindu festival, known as the Indian "Spring Festival", "Festival of Colors" and "Festival of Love", meaning the victory of good over evil.

Presentation of exchange programs was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. Head of BSU Strategic Development and International Relations Department Marine Giorgadze, Deputy Head of Department, "Erasmus+" Coordinator Nana Kurshubadze introduced the exchange programs announced for the 2024-2025 academic year to the students of bachelor`s, master`s and doctoral programs of various faculties.

Representatives of the US Department of Agriculture and "Farmer of the Future" visited BSU as part of the climate-smart agriculture extension project. USDA Washington office project leaders: Craig Ten, Rafael Gutierrez, office representative in Georgia Demna Dzirkvadze and "Future Farmer" project manager Natalie Kldiashvili met the BSU rector Merab Khalvashi and head of administration Merab Diasamidze. The parties discussed the projects implemented at the meeting and future cooperation directions. This year, with the involvement of the university, it was planned to implement specific measures in the direction of climate-smart agriculture.

A delegation of Ordu University visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. Rector of Ordu University Professor Orhan Bashi, Director of the Institute of Social Sciences Suleiman Erkam Sulak, Deputy Director of the Institute of Social Sciences Saniye Nur Ergan, Coordinator of International Relations Hasan Hussein Mutlu and Institutional Coordinator of "Erasmus+" Selin Yurdakul met the Rector of BSU, Professor Merab Khalvashi.
