Laboratory of Immunogenetics

The Laboratory of Immunogenetics is based on the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health Care and actually is involved in the study process. The Lab is equipped with the Advanced Technologies. Students study modern methods of genetics, molecular biology and immunology. There are practical and laboratory studies on the basis of Immunogenetic Lab.

The Medical Education and the Clinical Doctor Professional Development Centre 

The Medical Education and the Clinical Doctor Professional Development Centre ensures teaching and learning based on the practical skills through the modern teaching/learning methods, theoretical lectures and seminars as well as the applications. The Centre also provides continuous medical education and the development of qualification.

Laboratory of Cell Biology

The Laboratory of Cell Biology is based on the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health Care and actually is involved in the study process. In the laboratory, students learn methods of working on different cell cultures. There are practical and laboratory studies on the basis of Laboratory of Cell Biology.

The Lab of Anatomy

The Lab of Anatomy with the modern equipment, houses moulages and other visual aids in accordance with the systems of organs where the students learn the normal human body anatomy.  

The Lab of Zoology and Mineralogy

In the rooms arranged within the modern standards of Zoology and Mineralogy, the students are introduced to the unique mineralogical displays and specimen. The labs expose to the Georgian and International collections of the invertebrate and vertebrate animal displays.   

The Lab of Pharmacognosy

The Lab of Pharmacognosy provides the students with the opportunity to carry out macroscopic as well as microscopic analysis of the crude medical herbs, define the diagnostic signs and identify the raw materials. 

The Lab of Botany

In the Lab of Botany, with the ecologically clean and quiet space for investigation of the plant biodiversity, one can be exposed to the exotic, decorative plants and rare herbarium species.    

BSU Dent

From 2016 University dental clinic "BSU denti" is functioning at BSU, where are a different kind of dentistry cabinets.  The cabinets are equipped with the Advanced Technologies. BSU Dent" started receiving patients from February of 2017 and is now carrying out various dental services. There is 20% discount on dentistry services for students.

The Legal Clinic

The Legal Clinic opened in 2008 on the basis of the faculty of Law. It presents the model of Law Office and serves up to 400 socially vulnerable citizens every year.  Students have the internship and active assistance to the citizens solving of various legal problems and preparations of legal documents as well. 300 student of the faculty of Law has been trained in the clinic until now. During their internship, they get professional skills and practice.

Court Simulation Hall

Court Simulation Hall is designed for the students of the faculty of  Law, where different types of moot trials are organized by students. Students are encouraged to demonstrate the role of a judge, attorney, expert, witness, victim or defendant. All of this increases the possibility of utilizing theoretical knowledge and the learning process becomes more effective as well.

Criminology cabinet-laboratory

Criminology cabinet-laboratory opened in 2015 on the basis of the faculty of law. The cabinet-laboratory help to the students of criminal law to develop their practical skills. There is held as practical works as demonstrate of educational and documentary films.  Training-practical works are mainly conducted in the direction of criminalist techniques, such as traceology. Students obtain the theoretical knowledge using of technical means by which are equipped the cabinet-laboratory. Students are practically working to discover, find out visible, less visible and invisible footnotes.

FAB LAB BSU

FAB LAB BSU exists on the basis of the Faculty of Technologies. It is a modern laboratory equipped with the ultra-modern technology and appliances, e.g. installed 3D printers, laser cutting, programmable machinery etc. that will allow individual entrepreneurs and companies produce prototype products, test and manufacture them in limited numbers. 

At the FAB LAB the students benefit from the acquired practical and market-oriented knowledge of the contemporary technological achievements. The PabLab will have designated mentors allocated by the market-leading companies to make available for students to work on various projects. In addition, they will have the opportunity to explore and develop projects for new technological equipment.

Innovative Greenhouse

Innovative Greenhouse exists on the basis of Institute of Agrarian and Membrane Technologies. Students training practice and scientific-research work are carried out in Greenhouses equipped with the latest technologies.

The Psychology Clinic

The Psychology Clinic exists on the basis of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences and is the faculty's educational structural unit. The aim is implementing of alternative methods of psychology education, which will enable students to acquire practical skills, to involve in real affairs and psychological services with the help of faculty staff.

Photo-Video Studio

Photo-Video Studio exists on the basis of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. The studio is functioning at the faculty since 2015. It is equipped with the modern Technologies and has an appropriate area for photography and video clips. Students get acquainted the installation programs and video recording techniques as well.

Lab of Physics

The students of the Educational Program of Physics do their practice in the Mechanics, Molecular Physics, Optics, Electromagnetism, Radiophysics, Robototechniques Labs where they gain practical skills.

WebLab

WebLab is a Distance Lab with modern equipment in computer engineering where students work on various types of electronic tasks both on site and remotely. In the sector of Physics the students are provided with the service of 6 Labs.

European Research Centre

The European Research Centre serves the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences where the students, together with the professors and the teaching staff carry out research in International Relations, European Studies, Social-economic fields and the actual topics in Mass communication. Besides, the students benefit from the service of the Research Centre for the Problems of Public Management.

InVitro Lab

The students of the Agrarian Direction of the Faculty of Technologies learn at InVitro Lab where the plants are produced through InVitro method.  The faculty also gets the service of the innovative greenhouse equipped with advanced technologies where the students do their practice and carry out scientific-research activities.  

Learning on the Bases of the Research Institutes

The students of the Faculty of Technologies do their studies in the facilities of the Phytopathology and Biodiversity Institute and the Institute of Agrarian and Membrane Technologies as well as laboratories.

The Faculty of Humanities is serviced with offices in various directions. Center of Digital Humanities, Centre of Kartvelian Studies, the offices of American Studies, Classical Philology, Byzantine Studies and Neogrecistics, Romance Studies and German Studies, the offices after the name of Davit Khahutaishvili and the Turkish Studies equipped with specialized library and the modern equipment for presentation, are in active utilization in the study process. From the new academic year the digital-equipment–based Simultaneous Translation Lab, that will help the students master professional skills, will be opened. 

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University operates a laboratory health and safety training laboratory equipped with modern equipment, which is used for biology and medicine students and bio-medical research. The laboratory contributes to the strengthening of professional skills in the region, increases the employment opportunities of young personnel in private and state laboratories, pharmaceutical, agro-food industry, health institutes and educational institutions.
