IV international week of "Erasmus+" academic and administrative personnel exchange program has ended in BSU. Professors from the universities of Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Portugal gave lectures to BSU students on topical issues of various fields of science, and administration representatives held information meetings on the issues of effective management of exchange programs. BSU Rector Merab Khalvashi thanked the academic and administrative staff of the universities participating in the week for their active cooperation and presented them certificates.

On May 17 and 18, the training "Using Digital Technologies in the Teaching-Learning Process" was held for teachers of public and private schools within the framework of Developing and Implementing Technology Enhanced Teaching and Learning at Georgian HEIs - DITECH (trainer - assistant professor Nino Samnidze). Innovative strategies for creating educational videos and technologically enriched teaching as well as the possibilities of using the presented platforms in the educational process were discussed. During the training, the following digital educational platforms were presented: Edpuzzle, Genially, Mentimeter, Slido, Bamboozle.

The IV international week of "Erasmus+" was opened at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The week is held within the framework of the academic and administrative staff exchange program of "Erasmus+" and aims to promote the internationalization of the university, popularize BSU, plan joint international programs and projects, and deepen cooperation. During 5 days, 9 professors from 5 European universities will give lectures to BSU students, and representatives of foreign partner international offices will conduct trainings on issues of effective management of exchange programs.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is hosting the final conference and consortium meetings of the "Erasmus+" project "Learning Optimization and Academic Inclusion Via Equitative Distance Teaching and Learning - Love Distance". About 90 professors and experts from Georgia and various foreign universities are participating in the conference. The conference is held in the hybrid mode on May 15-17 at Le Meridien Batumi hotel. The session provides for the introduction to the public of the experience and results obtained in Georgia and Israel within the framework of the project, the organization of workshops and round tables of students of BSU, with the participation of students of ISU and TESAU pilot courses.

An archaeological workshop was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University within the framework of the European Union project "Eurodialogue", organized by the Eurasian Department of the German Institute of Archeology and the Goethe Institute. The archeological workshop aimed to present Early Bronze Age monuments and discuss the possibilities of creating a public register for them. German, Moldovan, Azerbaijani and Armenian scientists participated in the project together with Georgian scientists.
