International scientific cooperation between Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and Goethe University Frankfurt continues. Today, the presentation of the joint scientific project “Linguistic Means of Manipulation in Modern Georgian Political Discourse” was held at BSU. The project is the winner of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia’s Fundamental Research Grant Competition and was funded by the Foundation.

The Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of Atumi Shota Rustaveli State University is launching a double-degree English-language master`s degree program with the Mykola Romeris University of Lithuania.

Director of the International Association of European Journalists, Professor of the University of Antwerp Nadia Vissers and Professor of the University of Antwerp Frederik Maren met with the Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Tite Aroshidze. The parties discussed issues of deepening cooperation between the universities and future projects, including the participation of journalism students and staff in the "Erasmus+" exchange program.

Mariam Chkhaidze, a student of the vocational education program at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, is the winner of the National Vocational Education Award.
Mariam won the national award in the nomination - "Vocational Education Student of the Year".

A delegation from Vanadzor State University visited BSU. Rustam Sahakyan, Rector of Hovhannes Tumanyan Vanadzor State University, Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Batumi, Narine Matosiyan, and Advisor to the Head of Vanadzor Municipality, Arman Bernetsian, met with BSU Rector Tite Aroshidze. The parties identified the priorities of future cooperation and agreed to implement joint projects.
