In Prairie View A&M University of Texas, the students of the agricultural department of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University`s Faculty of Technology: Mary Tsilosani, Giorgi Kilasonia and Luka Ninidze are doing internships within the framework of the USDA climate-smart agriculture extension project of the United States Department of Agriculture. Students are introduced to the US Extension system and participate in the university research and practice activities. The climate-smart agriculture extension project is funded by the US Department of Agriculture and implemented by the Sectoral Platform "Farmer of the Future" together with Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

On July 26-30, 2024, the summer school "Political criteria for Accession to the European Union and Europeanization" was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The school was organized within the framework of the "Erasmus+" program, within the framework of the EU-funded Jean Monnet module "Political criteria for Accession to the European Union and the Europeanization of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine", which has been implemented at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences since 2023. The module aims to promote the values of the European Union by promoting the development of research and teaching about the European Union.

Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi is a participant of 4 winning projects of capacity building in the field of higher education (CBHE)! 11 winning projects were identified in the 2024 EU grant competition - Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) - with the participation/coordination of Georgia. Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is involved in 4 projects: SECURE; EDAGA; EU-AGM; OPTIFY. SECURE - Security Education Center for Unified Resilience and effective communications (Faculty of Exact Sciences and Education, coordinator from BSU Prof. Lela Turmanidze);

BSU hosts the international summer school "Intersectoral cooperation, technology transfer and innovation" held within the international project "Innovation, Inclusive Education and Quality". The three-day summer school was opened and the participants were welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Nodar Papukashvili, Tamar Sanikidze, Executive Director of the project “Innovation, Inclusive Education and Quality” Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Rector Merab Khalvashi, Batumi State Maritime Academy Rector Murtaz Devadze and Tatyana Fumasoli, Professor of the University College of London (UCL).

Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi hosted another session of the Board of Rectors. The session of the Board of Rectors was held under the leadership of the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, in which rectors and representatives of state and private universities took part.
