Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is hosting the first international conference "Early Education and Care". The aim of the conference is to facilitate an academic discussion on quality, accessibility and inclusion in early education and care, and to share knowledge in line with local and international practices. The event was opened and the participants were welcomed by Davit Gabaidze, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Ghasan Khalil, UN Representative in Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari and Eliso Bolkvadze, Members of Parliament, Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Professor Merab Khalvashi and Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara Maia Khajishvili.
