The Batumi Jean Monnet Winter School “The Political Criteria for Accession to the EU and Europeanization” was closed at the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The school was held on February 20-24, 2024 within the framework of the Erasmus+ program of the Jean Monnet module "Political Criteria of the Accession to the European Union and Europeanization of Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine" funded by the European Union at the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The winter school was attended by 30 students from different universities of Georgia, as well as students from Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. Lectures at the winter school were delivered by the coordinator of the module, Jean Monnet professor of the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Malkhaz Nakashidze, professor of the National University of Law of Ukraine, vice-rector, Jean Monnet professor of the module, Yurii Barabash, Jean Monnet professor Tetyana Komarova, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Ukraine, professor Tetiana Anakina, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Ukraine, Jean Monnet professor Olesea Plotnic, Faculty of Law, Moldova State University, Republic of Moldova, and Dr. Marko Milenkovic, Senior Research Fellow, Institute of Social Sciences in Belgrade, Serbia, Jean Monnet Fellow, Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute, Florence, Italy.
