United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Georgia Camlin Furley along with UNHCR representatives visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. At a meeting with BSU Rector Merab Khalvashi, Dean of the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences Levan Jackeli and Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations of BSU, Marina Giorgadze, Kemlin Furli talked about the prospects of cooperation with the university. According to the agreement of the parties, at the first stage, a training course on the international law of IDPs will be developed for the students of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, and relevant academic staff will be trained. It was planned to sign a memorandum of cooperation between BSU and UNHCR.
